Biography & Research Interests

Matthew retired from the United States Marine Corps in 2012 after serving 10 years. Following the Marines, Matthew completed his B.S. in Geology at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT in 2022. Matthew works with the MBMG Billings team as a research scientist with a focus in hydrogeology and supports critical groundwater investigations and economic geology projects. In his free time, Matthew enjoys road trips, rock hounding, fishing, and snowboarding. During her free time, Ruby, Matthew's service dog, enjoys long naps, chasing squirrels, and sniffing out rabbits. Matthew is pursuing a master's in Environmental Geology, with a focus in Hydrogeology, remotely through the University of Kansas.
