Kieran has a background in data collection for geochemical and geophysical analysis of ground and surface water interaction in Montana, and geochemical data collection of permafrost soil-cores for analysis of permafrost dome geomorphology in Fairbanks, AK. He has been involved with collection, laboratory analysis, and interpretation of stable water-isotope data from the Montana Isotopes in Precipitation Network (MTPIN) since 2022. He is interested in Montana stratigraphy and in using geochemical tracers and geophysical data to determine groundwater flow path dynamics.
