Biography & Research Interests

Jack came to Montana Tech from Minnesota in 2016 and joined the MBMG after finishing his masters in 2021. Growing up visiting Butte, he was always interested in the environmental cleanup and mining processes. Jack joins the environmental group focusing on superfund research in and around Butte. A majority of the research involves work with the Berkley Pit as well as the Butte Mine Flooding operable unit.
